26. Redden Jackson⁵ Lewis (Kinchen C.⁴, James³, Thomas², unknown¹) was born in Macclesfield, NC September 29, 1846. Redden died October 29, 1923 in Macclesfield, NC, at 77 years of age. His body was interred October, 1923 in Lewis Family Cemetary, Edgecomb Cty, Macclesfield, NC.

He married Delhia Ann Lucinda Wooten in Macclesfield, NC, January 14, 1873. Delhia was born in Macclesfield, NC September 5, 1852. Delhia died March 30, 1921 in Macclesfield, NC, at 68 years of age. At 41 years of age Delhia became the mother of Amos Worrell "Mr. Bud" Lewis in Macclesfeild, NC, May 16, 1894.

At 47 years of age Redden became the father of Amos Worrell "Mr. Bud" Lewis in Macclesfeild, NC, May 16, 1894. served in the Confederacy during the Northern Invasion
