2. Alfred² Smith (Henry¹) was born January 15, 1854. Alfred died September 22, 1939 in Allentown, PA, at 85 years of age.

He married Harriet Adams. Harriet was born in Scotland April 10, 1856. Harriet was the daughter of Robert Adams and unknown Blown. Harriet died May 5, 1925 at 69 years of age. At 21 years of age Harriet became the mother of Henry D. Smith 1877. At 22 years of age Harriet became the mother of Mame S. Smith in Northampton County, PA, December 4, 1878. At 34 years of age Harriet became the mother of Herbert Smith July, 1890.

At 23 years of age Alfred became the father of Henry D. Smith 1877. At 24 years of age Alfred became the father of Mame S. Smith in Northampton County, PA, December 4, 1878. At 36 years of age Alfred became the father of Herbert Smith July, 1890.

Alfred Smith and Harriet Adams had the following children:

3 i. Henry D.³ Smith was born 1877. Henry died 1954 at 77 years of age.

4 ii. Mame S. Smith was born in Northampton County, PA December 4, 1878. Mame died October, 1915 in Stockerton, PA, at 36 years of age. Her body was interred October 17, 1915 in Stone Church. She married Robert Byron Bachman in Northampton County, PA, before 1904. Robert was born in Kreidersville, PA November 27, 1874. Robert was the son of Thomas Franklin Bachman Jr. and Ancenetta Becker. Robert died November 14, 1949 in Nazareth, PA, at 74 years of age. At 30 years of age Robert became the father of Alma Bachman May 28, 1905. At 33 years of age Robert became the father of Paul Irving Bachman November 11, 1908. At 37 years of age Robert became the father of Wilma Roberta Bachman December 18, 1911. At 39 years of age Robert became the father of Esther Irene Bachman June 23, 1914. At 42 years of age Robert became the father of Kathleen Mae Bachman in Nazareth, PA, July 29, 1917. At 44 years of age Robert became the father of Beatice Belle "Bea" Bachman in Nazareth, PA, January 18, 1919. At 46 years of age Robert became the father of Robert Byron "Bob" BachmanJr. in Nazareth, PA, February 16, 1921. At 48 years of age Robert became the father of Lucille Ann Elizabeth "Lucy" Bachman in Nazareth, PA, April 8, 1923. At 51 years of age Robert became the father of Marion June Bachman in Nazareth, PA, June 1, 1926. At 53 years of age Robert became the father of Minnie Amanda "May" Bachman in Nazareth, PA, December 7, 1927. (See Robert Byron Bachman for the continuation of this line.)

At 26 years of age Mame became the mother of Alma Bachman May 28, 1905. At 29 years of age Mame became the mother of Paul Irving Bachman November 11, 1908. At 33 years of age Mame became the mother of Wilma Roberta Bachman December 18, 1911. At 35 years of age Mame became the mother of Esther Irene Bachman June 23, 1914.

5 iii. Herbert Smith was born July, 1890. Herbert died March 9, 1922 at 31 years of age.
